Michael Höffner, AIA

Michael is a longtime Oklahoma City resident with over 30 years of experience in architecture. He brings the attitude of thoroughness and careful inquiry to every project, shaped by the core belief that architecture should be timeless, durable and flexible - characteristics shared by value and sustainability.

Anything from the smallest detail to a multi-phase planning project is approached with enthusiasm. Experience for architectural clients includes designing a commemorative T Shirt; historic preservation; residential; community buildings; large corporate office buildings; and large multi-phase master plans.

While on faculty at the University of Oklahoma College of Architecture, Michael’s area of focus included practical research as well as teaching the “Design in the Urban Setting” studio; and the “Building Systems Integration” capstone studio and lecture class.

Affiliations and interests in the community include participating in and supporting the arts, supporting historic OKC neighborhoods, being active in AIA and ULI. Personal interests include photography and preservation of historic vehicles. Michael can often be seen on a vintage motorcycle or driving “Golden Boy,” his 1969 Chevrolet pickup, around town.
